High Manpower
Multiple guards at the entry and exit section of MLP(multilevel parking), and one guard for each of the floors above the ground floor.

Static pricing
A fixed charge(25rs for 4 wheelers & 12rs for 2 wheelers) is taken for parking duration ranging from 0 - 4 hours. Then extra charge is taken if the owner of the vehicle exceeds the time limit (this happens at the exit section).

Dynamic pricing model will be used by the system to calculate fares - higher fares will be taken during higher levels of occupancy

All payments are currently being done in cash which is time taking as well as not so convenient for all vehicle owners.

An option to pay online! Vehicle owners only scan and fill UPI pin (amount to be paid is already fed to the QR code) - Digital Payments are promoted, time is saved, and convenient for many people
No Tracking
No system to keep track of how many cars are parked on each floor. This can lead to crowded parking (lower floors are heavily crowded, while upper floors might be empty). The guards on each floor do not work well, as a result, vehicle owners have to waste time and energy searching for space on each of the lower floors before parking on some upper floor.

Realtime Tracking + Routing
The cameras at each floor will be utilised to keep track of cars at each floor. Accordingly, the system will assign floors, based on a routing algorithm, to new cars at the entry section hence will ensure sparse/ distributed parking, and will save time of vehicle owners searching for space at each floor.
No Fines
No system to charge fines to vehicle owners who park their vehicles improperly and cause inconvenience to other vehicle owners.

Since cameras are keeping track of cars on each floor, those cars parked on a floor different from the floor assigned to them will fined at exit section.
No data collection
No detailed collection of data on entry-exit of cars, which could be used to find out the peak hours and adopt dynamic pricing.

A proper database is being maintained where details like car plate number, entry time, floor assigned, floor entered, payment mode, amount of fine, etc will be stored which can be analyzed to determine rush/peak hours and also for other essential information.
